Free parking on both sides of the road, excellent quiet shaded terrace. medium-sized menu card with regional decor and a flat du jour all for very attractive prices. the quality of the foods and drinks for their pricing was far above average and the maintenance was warm and attentive. first moment was likely when we were ordered and when the waiter actually brought the whole cheese plank and just left it on the table, so that you would want as much as you like in the round. I've never seen that before. if they are in the region and need a fast or price/performance menu, keep it on their checklist.
We stopped here on Friday after the journey through the verdon schlucht to lunch. everything else was closed by the winter. we expected a regular restaurant on the roadside, ordered suppe and an salat. the suppe, called pistou, was excellent, similar to minenstrone, but full-bodied and packed. with sweet. the salat was a niçoise, very precise and perfected. I saw the tellers coming out of the kitchen and they all looked blunt. unfortunately we were full, so I can't compose. due to the number of local guests I would say that they were probably just as good.
We had to wait one, despite several accusations, to take one order. eating was average, although we did not try any of the traditional dishes.
We stopped here for lunch on a Friday after driving through the Verdon gorge. Everything else was closed due to winter. Expecting a regular roadside restaurant, we ordered soup and a salad. The soup, called pistou, was excellent, similar to minestrone but full-bodied and packed with vegetables. The salad was a niçoise, very precise, and done to perfection. I looked at the plates coming out of the kitchen and they all looked sumptous. Unfortunately, we were full, so I can't coment on the taste. Based on the number of local guests, I would say they were probably just as good.
