Smitty's Pancake House - Comox

Food was fine the place was quite busy as it was a holiday and most places were closed. The decor was tired but it was clean.

Admittedly we order for pickup but the few times I've sat in have been enjoyable as well. We work nearby and get a burger and omelet (sometimes natchos) every week. Portions are great, pricing is decent, the service is quick, the food is very tasty....They also allow, for me anyway, to change my order from the stock menu item to what I want. You may not think of them for natchos but they're quite good BUT ask for the cheese to be layered.

Good service. Enjoyed their new menu item with 8 items...eggs, bacon, ham, panfries, baked beans, tomato, mushrooms and toast.

The service was fantastic - they let us in 30 minutes before opening and still served us fresh brewed coffee and delicious eggs Benedict. When our other bookings fell through, we needed a place to regroup and work on solutions. Thank you!

While everything else in Port Alberni seemed closed, Smitty's was open. We ordered a burger and my wife had the pierogi dinner. Both dishes were delicious and the service was exceptional.
