Avenue Bistro - Comox

You are never disappointed while having a meal at Avenue Bistro. The menu is very varied and will please any taste and the sticky pouding dessert is to die for!

Great atmosphere, great food and first class service everything you need for an enjoyable lunchron experience.The menue is innovative and inviting with the Black Bean Tacos, Roasted Beet + Spinach Salad {(both withgoat cheese) and Avenue Clubhouse definitely delicious highlights.

Review would of been better but over 45 mins between ordering and receiving lunch. Other patrons seated well after us, had lunch and were paying when we got served. It was not busy nor did we order anything out of mainstream, 3 of us. The waitress was embarrassed and did apologies.On the plus side, food is quite good, and very good curried carrot soup, Ceaser Salad is good but maybe too much anchovies in dressing, not sure, it tasted a little fishy for my taste.Decor is nice, nothing special. We have been there before and had far better service, so maybe this was just a bad day, but it will be awhile before we return.

I really love French toasted over there me and my husband love to visit there after walk with puppy at goose spits staff are very Friendly and Food always awesome.

After a terribly disappointing dinner earlier in the week at a restaurant overlooking the marina, we were relieved to find a delicious dinner in Comox. Started with the oysters, so fresh and perfect. Had the nice flight of wine to try different local choices. Thai mussels, salmon salad, risotto.....everything was right on. Portions were generous. Now this is more like it. Whew!
