Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Commerce

My daughter and I were the only customers in the restaurant, but the 4 staff members took a long time to acknowledge us and take our order. I ordered two smoothies and a grilled cheese sandwich. The smoothies took a while to be prepared, and a young man came over with paperwork while we were waiting. The staff seemed to be more interested in chatting and dancing rather than serving us. It was frustrating to wait 15 minutes when there were no other customers in the restaurant.

I'm not sure why I decided to try this place. It's just mediocre. I can't see anyone reading this review and choosing to buy a smoothie, especially since there are better options nearby. I think this place is easily overlooked.

I ordered delivery through the app and found that two smoothies were missing upon delivery. I tried calling the store, but no one answered (this was more than 2 hours before closing). Because we really wanted the smoothies, we ended up reordering them and also submitted feedback to the app in hopes of being reimbursed for the second order.

I've had all good experiences here! I wish more tropical smoothie restaurants would follow suit.

Somehow they managed to only put sauce on half my sandwich.. how does that even happen???
