My experience at Greek village was not good. The food took forever a little over 45 minutes after we ordered. The waitress didn’t even provide pita bread while we waited. After we complained, the food came out expeditiously. The presentation was poor. It looked like they slapped all our appetizers into dessert plates. That’s when we noticed that we were missing the grape leaves that came with our order. We asked the waitress and she said the grape leaves did come with our appetizer, then she asked if “we wanted the grape leaves or not.” Well... if I ordered it, and it comes with my appetizer, what makes you think I don’t want it?In the end, we decided it was the worst choice we made. We won’t be stopping by Greek Village again, which is sad because we have been ordering food from there to our office for many years.
BEWARE SUPER SLOW SERVICE!Server was not attentive, did not even know what was on the menu. We sat there for 45 minutes waiting for our food then asked for it to go, server said she was timing everything. When we got home we were missing the fries and no feta on my gyro they added extra onions which was overpowering and made the gyro not taste so good.
Great Greek food and desserts. Hard not to fill up on pita and salad. Gyro meat is perfectly cooked. Most things were perfectly spiced or a little under spiced, which was okay. Great, friendly service.
As a Queens native who ate Greek food in Astoria, decent is the best I can describe it
