Maggie's Cafe - Comer

There aren't many dining options in this area, so I was pleased to discover such a great spot. I ordered a hamburger and fries, and they were just right. I didn't get a chance to try the desserts, but they certainly looked enticing. I also enjoyed the atmosphere, which was filled with beautiful Christmas decorations.

It was my first time dining there, and I found the food to be excellent and reasonably priced for the portion sizes. The staff were all very friendly and courteous. The only downside was the service; there were no drink refills, and after delivering our meals, the server didn’t check back in with us.

I’ve passed by this restaurant multiple times on my way to Vesta and have always wanted to stop for lunch or dinner, but I never found the time. On October 26, our family finally made a lunch visit happen. We were a group of five and tried a variety of dishes including a Reuben, a chicken finger platter, a southwest burger, and a hamburger steak. For sides, we ordered multiple portions of onion rings, curly fries, fried okra, coleslaw, pasta salad, mozzarella sticks, and a house salad. For dessert, we indulged in Heath bar cake and several cheesecakes, with some of their delightful desserts packed to go for other members of our group. Overall, the food was excellent. However, a couple of people in our party mentioned that the dishes lacked seasoning to their taste. It’s funny how those same diners would likely complain if the food were over-seasoned! What ever happened to people just grabbing the salt and pepper shakers and seasoning their own food? I shook my head in disbelief, feeling a bit like a character from "The Exorcist" with Linda Blair giving me that look. As for me, I loved the Reuben, onion rings, and also sampled the fried okra and coleslaw, all of which were fantastic. Two days later, I found myself in a debate over a larger portion of Turtle Cheesecake with my significant other—she won, of course. The staff were great and attentive during our lunch. This is definitely a place to consider if you’re in the area and looking for a good meal. If you spot me there, feel free to say hello!

Food is good homemade desserts amazing staff is young high school kids but the food and service was still great I've ate the 2 times both times it was good

Everything we tried was fantastic. The prices were very reasonable. They served the best desserts!
