328 Taphouse Grill - Colwood

When you take our order for food and drinks you’re supposed to check on us periodically to see if we would like another drink, or possibly if we need anything after our first bites, not only we’re we not checked on until we were almost done eating to see if we needed anything but after we complained about how our pizzas were undercooked and plainly terrible, it took the waitress 10 minutes to bring out pizza sauce then argued with us that we could’ve got a box. Shocking. It’s not worth the headache to head here for dinner.

Cute local décor pulling in local photos and murals on the walls.Service was slow Only one server) she was friendly but I was definitely glad we were not on a time restraint.The Cobb salad way too small for $22.00. Mind you It was delicious; but it was the size of a large side salad, honestly if they had of put more “mere” lettuce on the base it would have been more presentable. It made me wonder if they ran out of lettuce. There is too much competition of offering good flavoured larger portions for same value. I wont be rushing back.

Great food, service was a bit slow but is understandable on a Friday night

Ordered a Hawaiian Pizza and although it tasted okay, I was disappointed with the amount of toppings. Only 1 maybe 2 pieces of pineapple per slice and same with the ham. The server said they measured the toppings! In that case, although the price went up the quality down.

Took a bit to get seated, we. Almost left because we were under a bit of a time crunch. Glad we didn't because the food was worth the wait. Our server was very accommodating. Service remained a bit slow but they seemed to be busier than the staff could handle. No one was standing around.The food more than made up for any gripe I had about the service. Ceasar salad was fresh, crunchy and not over-dressed. The calamari was lightly breaded and not over-cooked and the nachos were generous and delicious.
