Most stunning at sunset, hence the beach name I presume. The service was excellent, the food good & the drinks cold. What more do you need or want ?
We have visited many shacks with living in Goa , and I think this one rates near the bottom . They are the only one to my knowledge that charge for sunbeds if you don't spend enough , The beds have not been upgraded in 8 years to my knowledge , and are now rusty and not comfy. I had to fetch all our drinks as they only had one boy , family and not efficient. Worst of all they advertise tandoori food and DONT have a tandoor , So no nann no roti , no tandoori fish , chicken , although its on the menu , a disgrace , I will never go again . I don't over worry about price but , 350 inr for chicken tikka here , 200 at Camron a short walk away , What a rip off . DONT GO
This was only shack near to our hotel. We used the sun beds & then would have some lunch. The chips were like mum makes! Can't comment on rest of menu as we only tried the sandwiches & chips.
Perched on its own on Sunset Beach, Betalbatim, is Anri's Place. In typical understated Goan style, this restaurant sits in the sand facing the beautiful Arabian Sea. Over sunset, we ordered the whole grilled red snapper and cauliflower Marsala and drank the best priced cocktails in South Goa. We made several trips to this restaurant during our stay and were never disappointed. Delicious!
Beautiful location. A beach shack situated on the raised part of the beach so that one gets a magnificent view of the beach.Warm friendly welcome & service. Great fresh orange screwdrivers for only Rs 90.We had ordered a lobster- extremely fresh & very nicely presented..Perhaps the tastiest prawn curry in Goa.We are lucky. If there was a proper path, clean toilets & no rubbish strewn around we would be in heaven!!!
