Orange Leaf - Columbiana

We decided to have dinner at the neighboring restaurant and noticed this place, which had appeared in previous searches in the area, so we decided to check it out. The interior is very bright and cheerful. They offer a wide selection of flavors and toppings, along with other menu options. The only thing that struck me as odd was that they charge a set price per cup size instead of a weighted price like other frozen yogurt shops. Other than that, we had a great experience.

After my first visit to Orange Leaf a few weeks ago, I asked the employee if I could see the ingredient list for their chocolate frozen yogurt. I informed them of my allergy to coconut, acai, palm, and other palm family ingredients, and expressed concern that palm oil is not always listed in allergen information. Despite being assured by the employee that there was no coconut in the chocolate frozen yogurt, I later felt ill after consuming it. On my second visit today, I asked a different employee to check the ingredient list for the pineapple and orange frozen yogurt in light of my palm family allergy. After checking the allergen list and then the actual ingredient list, it was confirmed that coconut oil is used in the neutral base for all frozen yogurt flavors, despite not being listed in the allergen information. I ended up ordering a smoothie made with almond milk, which was delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very cozy, and I enjoyed my time there, despite the disappointment of not being able to have their frozen yogurt. I am writing this review in the hope that Orange Leaf will update their allergen information to include coconut, so that those with the same allergy as me can avoid consuming undisclosed allergens.

The food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed it and there were so many different flavors to choose from, including a variety of toppings.

This restaurant deserves a negative rating. My wife and I visited this Orange Leaf to get a smoothie, but the staff were unfriendly and unprofessional. The smoothie was watery and not very cold. The Orange Leaf in Alliance, Ohio is much better - the staff there are friendly, professional, and know how to make a good smoothie.

My 6-year-old daughter licked her yogurt when I wasn't looking. The employee looked at her and said, "No toppings for you!" My daughter started crying and we got upset. Instead of yelling at the kids, talk to the parent first.
