Villa Tronco Italian - Columbia

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. This is one of the best customer service experiences we've had since Covid! From Carmella returning our voicemail outside of business hours (to reassure us there was room for our reservation) to Emily taking such good care of us throughout our meal. The chicken piccata was phenomenal and just what we wanted. We will be back!

Wonderful place with an amazing history(take the time to read it). We had the Villa Tronco and Scallops. I would recommend both. After reading the history I'm intrigued to try the meatballs as well but will save that for a future visit. The food and atmosphere are delightful with pleasant staff as the cherry on top.

I have been a patron of Villa Tronco for at least 18 years, and can say with all honesty, they never fail to achieve 5+ rating! It 's a landmark, and the family that are the owners are some of the nicest and caring people on the planet! Be sure and try at least ONE of the desserts! Entrees are all exceptional also. One of my 'go to ' places!

I had a great start at this restaurant with fantastic service and the best crab cake I've ever tasted, along with a delicious house salad. However, my entree, the seafood pesto, was a bit of a letdown, especially given the price. While the portion of linguine was generous and the creamy pesto sauce was wonderful, my scallops were undercooked, only browned on one side. One of the mussels was gritty and hadn't been cleaned properly, and all the shrimp still had their tails on. For a place of this caliber, I didn't expect to have to remove hard granules from my mouth or to dig into my dish to get rid of shrimp tails. When I mentioned the issue with the mussel to the waitress, I was met with a simple "oh, sorry about that," which wasn't the response I anticipated. Since others at my table were enjoying their meals, I decided not to make a scene. I'm open to giving this restaurant another chance, but I will definitely avoid ordering any seafood dishes in the future.

Went here for birthday dinner. My raviolis were beyond undercooked, they were Luke warm. My husband had the veal piccata and the portion for the price was ridiculous, like a kids portion . The service was great, very attentive. That was a positive. The homeless and pot smell getting there and getting to car was not a good thing. I am not saying homeless people are dangerous, some of them were asking for money which is just not safe. The location was very undesirable. Overall, horrible and not worth the money, no authinic taste
