Vennari's Pizza Subs - Columbia

Best pizza. Ate it growing up in Columbia, and had to stop in on my trip to MD.

Best Pizza EVER! I wish they had a location where I live now (Virginia). I make sure to stop by any time I am in the area.

The best pizza I have ever had in my life, but it may not appeal to everyone. I have grown up eating Vennari's pizza, a small family-owned and operated pizzeria that has been passed down from father to son. Every time I visit Maryland, I make sure to stop in Columbia specifically to get a large cheese pizza. The sauce is sweet, the toppings are delicious, and the cheese is plentiful although not the highest quality. The crust, however, is the best I have ever tasted.

I had the worst pizza ever at this restaurant. The pizza was thin, floppy, and sloppily put together. The crust was burnt, the sauce was bad, and it hardly had any cheese on it. I also ordered jalapeño poppers, which were a disappointment. Each popper had a chunk of partially melted cheddar cheese loosely stuffed in a jalapeño skin with very little breading. It was basically inedible.
