Railroad Bbq - Columbia

The food was without a doubt exquisite! BBQ executed to perfection. The beef brisket was tender and packed with flavor. Their unique dipping vinaigrette was an unexpected surprise with its sweet yet spicy finish. The cornbread was so delicious that my husband diverted my attention and stole half of mine! We both loved the potato wedges and baked beans. Not a scrap of food was left on either of our plates. My husband and I were feeling pretty full, however we couldn 't pass up the opportunity to taste a dessert after being so thoroughly impressed with everything else here. We finally decided on the banana pudding to share. Slices of fresh bananas (not browned at all), and crunchy cookies were found in every bite of this pudding. As delicious as the food is here, it could never overshadow the warm and friendly staff. There is an abundance of history that covers every wall and table. As a big fan of Billie Holiday I had to find her amongst the collage. Mr. Gray was quick to pick up on my inquisitive search and promptly helped me locate her, and several other historically familiar faces. If you are so lucky as to strike up a conversation with Mr. Gray, do yourself a favor and sit back and listen. His personable attitude is dripping with a wealth of distinct been there knowledge that will without a doubt intrigue.... Love this place, we will be back!

I ordered delivery through UberEats and EVERYTHING was delicious! I had the L&C with beef brisket, pulled pork, baked beans, mac and cheese, and cornbread. My daughter ordered 10 smoked wings with dry rub and potato wedges. I tried four sauces and they were all good (the vinegar based sauce and Carolina Gold were my favorites but the bbq sauces were really good too). Best brisket I have ever had and best delivery order I've ever placed!

Food was wonderful. We stopped in from Richmond Virginia. We had the 4 meat sampler. Brisket, pulled pork and Chicken and Ribs. All the sides were delicious and the cornbread was delicious too. We even bought some of the homemade BBQ sauce to take home. We have tons of leftovers left as well. Everyone was so friendly and Kevin the Owner took time to talk with us, which we enjoyed. I've had a lot of smoked brisket all over the country and this brisket is EXCELLENT. The cornbread is EXCELLENT and the collards are EXCELLENT! Also had the smoked pork which was good but do yourself the favor and get the brisket if you're going to be in town once. Great sauces too! Slaw and Mac cheese were ok but we were just blown away by everything else.

Well here is an up coming threat to BBQ in Augusta. Decided to drive here from Augusta to see what all the fuss is all about. I had the L&C with ribs, brisket, spicy collards, hash, and sweet corn bread. My company had the smoked chicken plate, potato wedges and white rice. My other guest had BBQ pulled chicken sandwich, Coleslaw and potato wedges. Overall everyone enjoyed there meal. I would say that the ribs were amazingly tender had a perfect pink smoke ring and were fall off the bone. The owner Kevin was an amazing person to meet and provided me with how his restaurant was first being established in 2015. This man you can tell has many stories to share on his passion for Railroad BBQ. Additionally the staff was Uber courteous and respectful. Also I would say London was a credit to the establishment. He can provide some great recommendations on the menu.
