While the holiday drinks were a bit on the expensive side, you're really paying for the wonderful atmosphere. They're open through New Year’s Eve. You may have to wait, but if you want to experience a vibe straight out of a Hallmark movie, it’s definitely worth it!
The food was excellent, but unfortunately, the bar service left something to be desired. It took over five minutes to learn that our chosen beer was unavailable, and then another ten minutes to receive the substitute.
Main Street truly went above and beyond for their Miracle charity event. The service was exceptional this evening, even with the busy holiday atmosphere. Keep up the great work!
My wife and I stopped off at the Main Street Public house on our way to North Carolina. She ordered a bacon and brie cheese burger that she said was really good. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak and I thought it was pretty good also. We both ordered the truffle fries for our side item and they were nice and crispy. The waitress was very friendly and overall the restaurant had a nice setup and atmosphere.
Cozy spot with character, but not lacking in sophistication. Strikes the right balance with an extensive draft list, quality cocktails and elevated pub fare. Highly recommend the MFB.
