The manager, who seems too intimidated to address unhappy customers directly, sent his waitstaff to handle my concerns instead. I placed an online order over an hour before arriving, but when I showed up at 12:30 to pick up my food, I found out not only was my order not ready, but they hadn’t even started it. There were five other orders in front of mine, and apparently, they prioritized all the online orders to the back of the line, causing significant delays. Since I was in a hurry, I asked for a refund instead. The waitress couldn’t process it, but she said the manager could. After she went back and forth a few times, he finally told her it would take about 20 minutes for him to come out and handle the refund. I wasn’t about to wait another 20 minutes after already being there for 30 minutes! When I spoke to him through the kitchen door and reiterated my request for a refund, he curtly replied, "Ma'am, like I told you five times, it’ll take me about 20 minutes to do so." I reminded him that I had waited long enough, and he simply said they were backed up and fulfilling other priorities. If they were unable to fulfill my order in a reasonable timeframe, I would have appreciated a call to let me know. Instead, upon my arrival, I was met with delays and a lack of communication. As I was leaving, the manager marked my food as ready, but I left empty-handed and still without my refund. It’s clear that the restaurant is operating slowly, and the manager was not helping his staff or addressing customers effectively, leaving many frustrated diners, including four who walked out while I was there. They need to hire more staff, offer better training, and take the time to communicate with upset customers instead of avoiding them. The manager is supposed to be leading the team, so he needs to step up. Given how he’s responded to reviews in the past, I’m surprised he still has a job. Can’t the owners see that their business is declining?
As for the parking, it’s located in a strip mall, and yes, it’s kid-friendly!
The server struggled a lot with splitting the bill for our party of eight, and at one point, she seemed overwhelmed. None of the other staff or the manager stepped in to help; she was just running back and forth trying to manage it all. Le Peep has always been my favorite brunch spot, but today's experience was unfortunate. I hope it was just an isolated incident. On a positive note, my mango lemonade was really refreshing!
Patrick was very welcoming and let us know what they did not have at the moment. He checked on us frequently after the food came to see if we needed anything and was very professional throughout our dining experience.
Patrick was prompt, helpful and a joy. The food and mimosas are excellent. We enjoy our Sunday brunch dates here very much.?
