Jj's Cafe - Columbia

We must have come on a day when the restaurant was not at its best. The food was not served hot, with the hash browns being crunchy in a negative way. The cheese in the omelet was not melted at all. We had to drown everything in syrup in order to eat it. My nephew's pancakes were decent, but everyone else's meals were disappointing. Since we were heading back home, we decided not to ask for a redo. We just ate our meal and left.

This restaurant offers traditional Southern and American cuisine, with a popular breakfast menu. While it may not be the absolute best food in the area, it is a fantastic option considering the price and overall atmosphere. Our party of 5 was well taken care of, and the staff was incredibly friendly and comfortable with each other.

My boyfriend and I recently moved to town and have been searching for our go-to breakfast spot. Unfortunately, this restaurant didn't quite make the cut. It's around 5th on our list (though still better than some others). The food was okay, but nothing exceptional. The eggs were overcooked and the hash browns were a bit strange and dry. If you're looking for affordable prices, this place is a solid choice. However, don't expect anything fancy. The service was decent, with a very friendly hostess.

It's a lovely little place! The staff was very friendly and the food came quickly. The prices on everything were very reasonable too. I had a farmer's delight with no gravy

Service was quick. Normally food is really good however today that was not the case. Food was Luke warm as well as the coffee. Was not very busy when we were here so not sure why the food was not hot. When we arrived 4 employees were out smoking this ishow slow the business was when we arrived. Will try again however if quality, quantity, and/or service is as it was today itwill be on the list of not going back. Thos saddens me as I prefer local over chains.
