What a fantastic way to celebrate a college graduation! The restaurant's location is quite unassuming, tucked away in a strip mall. However, stepping inside reveals a delightful ambiance that is pleasantly surprising. The service was outstanding, with our waiter, Chris, being both informative and energetic. The food was exceptional at every course! We started with wings and crab dip as appetizers, both of which were delicious and quickly devoured. For our main courses, we enjoyed steak and lobster pasta, and everyone was delighted with their choices. We even had a small slice of key lime pie to share, which featured an amazing crust! *Note: I made reservations months in advance. Chris McD’s is recognized as one of the best restaurants in Columbia, MO, and as someone from Chicago—home to incredible food—I wholeheartedly agree with that assessment! Overall, it was an excellent dining experience!

Amazing service! Josh W was well-versed in the menu, offered excellent recommendations, and perfectly timed each course. He made my 70th birthday dinner an unforgettable experience.

As a side note, I tried the croutons with the wedge salad, and they were amazing—delicately soaked in something delicious yet still perfectly crunchy. Oh, and the tortellini paired with the sea bass was also very tasty. We left completely satisfied; however, afterward we went to a chain restaurant, and it felt like a cafeteria experience by comparison.

Had the best roast chicken I've ever had here. We had a large group and they had our table ready when we arrived. Pleasant atmosphere and everyone had a great meal.

The food was outstanding! The service was on point. Clean, fast and efficient. They had a plan, they worked the plan, we had a great time. Again the food was amazing. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the pairing of their steaks with their “steak butter”, garlic mashed and shoe string onions was a dance of flavors and textures. We will be going back. Now the ambiance was a little dated and meh compared to the food. But dang that food was amazing. Their cucumber ranch was also a fun surprise. Go now, you will thank me later!
