Chick N' Friends - Columbia

If you're from the West Coast (California) and find yourself missing Rosco's Chicken and Waffles, you should definitely check out Chick n Friends. The food is fantastic, and the owners and staff are incredibly friendly. I absolutely love it!

The chicken is fantastic, and the catfish is equally delicious. The sweet potato pies are absolutely incredible! The portions for the sides could be a bit larger, but that’s okay. Overall, the food is superb. I highly recommend calling ahead to place your order so it’s ready when you arrive. Waiting in the restaurant, smelling the chicken and fish being cooked fresh is pure torture!

I really want to explore more dishes on the menu, but I can't seem to resist the chicken. It's absolutely fantastic—always consistently delicious. Make sure to call ahead, or be prepared to wait a long time!

Awesome fried chicken. Really great, crisp, meaty fried chicken! They specialize in carry out with an emphasis on fried chicken and lake trout. I tried both the lake trout was very good (crisp, nicely fried, not greasy), but I'm a real fried chicken fan at heart. And this is some great stuff! Crisp, savory fried chicken, nice and meaty pieces, pressure fried and freshly prepared! Not greasy at all. I would highly recommend this if you like fried chicken and would place this in my top 5 fried chicken I've ever had. You may want to call ahead with an order the chicken is prepared fresh with little chicken left sitting around. The seasoned potato wedges are great nicely seasoned rectangles, not the typical steak fries that are well cooked and are not greasy, either. I've read rave reviews of their cakes and pies, as well, and am looking forward to trying their pie later!

Good food, large portions and flavorful! We enjoyed it. We actually bought too much thinking we would not have time to pick up or make lunch tomorrow. Now we have food for like 3 days. : I'm not complaining!
