Smashburger - Columbia Heights

Great black bean burger. I love this place. As a vegetarian, I appreciate a burger compound that offers a homemade black bean burger as a substitute for any burger on the menu. I love the fried pommes and the sweet potatoes. I think the children who work there in the evening are also really good. We always had a good service from the staff. The place is also spotlessly clean. If you are in the mood for burgers and pommes, this is the place.

Good taste. Smashburger has great burgers, but they are expensive and I think Culver is down on the street just as good for less.

Our family of four just ate and enjoyed it. It is a good burger, good pommes, and the hot dog is also not bad. I had the 1/3 lb Burger, it had the right amount of crust on the need and the bungalow was really delicious.

Big burger, but it's not cheap. It's new, it's clean, and the burgers are great, but creepy! I was there at 12:30, and there was a line, but it moved quickly and there were many places to sit inside or outside on the terrace. The terrace is not really something special, because it is right in the parking lot, but it certainly allows them to fit more people. The Burger, Pommes and a medium pop came a little over $10, so it's not cheap. They offer 1/4lb and 1/2 lb burger, and the 1/4 burger felt like at least one 1/2.

Very good burger, perfectly cooked patty with a good balance of bread, cheese veggies and condiments. Crispy brussels sprouts were excellent. Limited fountain drink selection and a somewhat dirty interior we're negatives. Quick and friendly service was a plus.
