Ice Cream Hut - Colonial Beach

And this is the double scoop for only 5.55! Practically no wait time either. Once I paid and walked to the other window , my order was ready!

This ice cream shop has several flies constantly buzzing around the ice cream, which is quite annoying. I ordered a serving of banana splits, but the bananas inside are also not fresh.

Cute little unassuming ice cream shop on the main drag just before getting to the main beach area. Place your order at one window and pick up at the other. I got the banana split and my mom got a vanilla shake. Split could've used a bit more generous amount of syrup/pineapple, but was a great classic nonetheless. There is no indoor seating. Water misting stations are a nice touch.

Tasty ice cream and a nice location. Fun beach motif too. Kids loved it.
