The Cricket Club Cafe - Colombo

Go on a date or with a bunch of friends, it is a perfect place to spend some quality time. Excellent food and ambience. Don't forget to stir the Allen fry Lamb try. This is one of the best lamb dishes I had in Colombo and all my time favorite. Since I came to the SL in December 2017, this place had been visited. Trust me that I have always ordered the same court. I just can't get my head and my heart out.

Beautiful cricket themes pub/bar/restaurant with live sports. Filled with cricket memorabilia. Inside the Oasis cum courtyard opens the elements for a cool breezy feeling supported by big fans plus air-conditioned rooms next to and on the upper floor. During my first visit, I had soft drinks and the 'Border' aussie style burger, named after the legendary Australian captain, filled with a well seasoned meat patty, Beetroot pineapple fried onions, fried egg, tomatoes, salad and cut cheese. Good price at nearly 1000 rupees. The service fees apply to the final invoice. The menu is very extensive that 's exTensive NOT expensive, but I speak some tourist prices, but this is certainly not your average pub. The beautiful Australian couples who lead this place know their things well. Over 20 strange years run a pub and I think they nailed it. This recently built (about 5 years ago I believe) facility was built with 200 years old bricks, but with a modern finish. It feels like a step back in time, but with modern lively kitchen and bar. Many tour teams have gone through and often leave their hair after a well-fighted game and left their brand on the walls inside. It is like a cricket museum with bat by Sir Donald Bradman, Gavaskar, Botham, Warne and much more.its worth a visit only for memory. Service is quiet, attentive and professional with well drilled local staff overlooked by the bosses sharp eyes. The hostess Gabby seemed to be constantly personally reviewing her guests, taking orders and having a chat. Background music was modern international favorites, but I was there for the live cricket on the big screen behind the bar. Huge selection of drinks including happy hour specials and cocktail promotions. Local and imported beers and a large selection of wines. Centrally located in a beautiful suburb of Colombo, this place is a MUST for weekend drinks with the band, a romantic dinner or a business dinner with a naughty pint. See for yourself. I'll bring my friends back next week when we return to Colombo. Since this is only my fourth short visit to this wonderful city, the Cricket Club Cafe is already my favorite pub in Colombo, perhaps Sri Lanka, but I am still looking!!! Try it.

Loved the Everything, atmosphere, theme setting , foods , customer service everything is excellent , worth for price , will visit again to enjoy the great place there are cricket collection are unique and authentic
