Monkeybean Cafe - Colombo

Drinks are great, food is okay. Ecofriendl is also a plus. BUT it’s a No-Go how slow they are. We were the only two guests here in the cafe and it took them Minutes until we received our food (panini and omelette, so nothing really difficult). The drinks „only“ took minutes until we got them. The staff where two people and it seemed as if they were really working continuously on our little order. Sorry, guys, that doesn’t work. Imagine your cafe is full. People are waiting hours then?

Probably the best late I’ve had and the view is amazing too! For travelers like me the wifi and outlets are a game changer!

Really good Latte! For a fussy coffee lover this is the place to get a cup!!! Free wifi too. Makes it a good place to stop and work a bit. The plain Americano or Long Black is also very nice.

Nice Café next to the lake, maybe the best homemade cake in Sri Lanka and really good coffee also totally helpful and friendly stuff. Thank you very much :
