Box Colony - Colombo

Good place. Nice soup and food. expensive.not for budget people

Box Colony is a small make-shift restaurant towards Pelawatta in Battaramulla. Not much of an ambiance or variety in the menu. But is good for a quick catching up with friends. Unfortunately the food was a bit bland. Their pasta dishes were really good. They creamy chicken pasta was really good.

Box Colony has a nice laid back, chilled out vibe, perfect for a hang out session after work. The menu is not extensive and no alcohol is served. But you can bring your own drinks.. the lady running the place brought us nicely chilled glasses for the white wine. This place outside of Colombo is a perfect addition to the cute little places springing up in Thalawathugoda.

Restaurant with a different theme. Out door and indoor seating available. Need to organize little more adding some glamour value. Services also take time with less staff. Food is tasty and prices are reasonable.

Love the new urban setting at Box Colony. The burger was juicy and filling. Totally worth for 800 LKR. Although it is a place where smoking is allowed, they did not have any ash trays. The staircase for the upstairs dining area was rather confusing as it was located right by a pathway from the main entrance. BYOB and great place to hang out with friends for a relaxed meal.
