Przekaż informację zwrotnąThe restaurant has a beautiful decor, and it is centrally located in the heart of Colmar. The service is fast, multilingual, and the menu has even vegetarian options. The meat lasagna is delicious and the crème burke delectable, but the charcuterie platter has too much meat and not enough vegetables, salads are all dressed with a horseradish based dressing that over powers anything, and the latte macchiato is so strong you think it it a cup of expression instead. The place is undermanned, two waitresses and a waiter served tables and performed bartender duties and ran crazy to cover table outside, inside, and upstairs. In addition, since there is only one bathroom per gender for the 80 people that are eating at any given time, you may have to wait for your turn for a while. Not the romantic experience I expected.
The restaurant is in the old town Little Venice. Charming atmosphere very good service and delicious food. We shared an assorted bruschetta starter followed by Risotto aux Cèpes with a bottle of Ollieux Romanis and coffee to finish. Good quality decent price.
Friends, we have traveled so much in Europe with my friends, we have never seen a restaurant that discriminates so much against people, is so racist and treats its guests badly. After waiting in line for 45 minutes, they tried to pick us up and take us to a table that would not be seated by gesturing. There are definitely behavioral problems. I have never visited this restaurant. Do not choose. You did not open, this may be the worst.
We should have read TripAdvisor before eating at this place, but like bozos we ate here because it was crowded so we figured it must be good. Bad decision on our part. Please read other TripAdvisor reviews like from Mirza420, Boardingpass, Sherpa, because they were spot on. Our waitress was the nastiest ever. We watched her be so rude to so many couples that the restaurant looked anything but romantic with regards to how she acted. People sat there miserably. We just sat back and watched the nastiness for entertainment, and knew exactly how we would be treated too (poorly). We watched her yell at someone who was waiting for a table and had asked her a question about the empty tables. We just ignored the nastyness. This place should consider simply changing the name by adding “Un” before “Romantica” so it reads “Unromantica” so couples and others feeling sour (terrible) after their dining experience won’t feel so bad. The restaurant could just capitalize on the rude dining experience with a name like Unromantica as that would be funny. Perhaps couples might not hate each other after an Unromantica dining experience because they’d go in for a laugh. The owner should hire secret diners to dine there for dinners to see how they are treated (and by whom) if they cared to make changes. The owner should also see how potential customers are treated when asking about a table for outside (the waitress gave rude replies even thought it wasn’t clear where to form a line). There was no paper wait list as nobody took names by the way.
Des plats italiens délicieux. Du personnel qui est plus qu'investi. Bravo a eux! Nous y sommes allés 2 fois sur 5 jours. Un vrai plaisir
