Brasserie Heydel - Colmar

Brasserie sympathique, bien située et au bon rapport qualité prix. Personnel accueillant, nous y avons très bien mangé. La carte courte privilégiant le fait maison met en confiance.

Has tables outside and in with quite good size menu. We had steak tartare which my partner was asked if he wanted to mix himself which was great. I had cordon bleu with munster cheese and ham and mushroom sauce and proper chips. Was excellent. Couple of beers and half litre of Languedoc rose. Very good value at 56E. Good service too. Lovely little place.

We were in Colmar for the day and needed some refreshment mid afternoon. Spotted this bar in a quiet side street and as there were plenty of tables available, decided to take some drinks there. All very nice. When we passed by later, the bar was buzzing so clearly a place for the evening!

The food was amazing, service was fast and friendly. I had the Tartar and my partner had the Cordon Bleu, couldn't decide which was better. Brice who was one of our waiters was fantastic. The other waiter it was his first ever shift was also friendly and charming. Only in town a few days but will be going back. Reasonably priced.

Accueil sympa d une serveuse mais notre serveuse (une autre) n etait pas des plus chaleureuse (sinon le reste de l equipe au top). Assiette très bien servie et dessert frais. Tarif tout a fait raisonnable. Nous reviendrons.
