Visited The Wing Guru on 7.3.22, Poplar Collierville location. Here is my review: Food Reviewed: Five piece whole wings with garlic sriracha seasoning including a side of okra and drink to go. Food Presentation: 3- Food was presented nicely. The okra was individually boxed. Chicken was evenly doused and no garnish was presented. Food Flavor: 2- Chicken was not as expected. With a garlic sriracha, I expected to get either a high note of sriracha with a garlic blend or vice versa. In this case I could neither taste the garlic or sriracha, but got a strong presence of a lemon and vinegar mix. This over powered the flavor of anything else the chicken may have been flavored with. The wings were fresh, cooked to a done finish with no over or under cooked portions. There was a generous portion of okra which was seasoned with what I can only describe as a dry chicken rub. This was a new and welcomed twist on fried okra. The okra also had a very nice crust which you don 't see often when ordering out. Bravo Service: 3- From time order was placed to time presented was 27 minutes. Lobby was comfortable and the staff were friendly. Lobby was decorated with Wing Guru Logos, televisions and mentions of contests they had placed in. Value: 1- For this to go meal the ticket was 22.52 with tax and no tip. The chicken with a side of fries or okra and a drink was 18.78. There was an extra .75 for choosing okra. There was a .99 charge for choosing a premium flavor. Tax was 2.00. Overall Impression: 2- Here is where the rubber meets the road. All in all the experience was not completely terrible. The wait time was a bit long but to be expected for fresh chicken. The food portions were perfect for one. Where we get off is the flavor and price. I joked with one of the employees if they would pay 22 for 5 wings and okra and they said no. Given the price you would expect the food be a reflection of it. I am happy I was able to visit and review this location but would neither recommend nor revisit in the future.
Worst wing place ever took them 1hr to get our food ready, and it wasn't even good plus It was $30 dollars for my dad's food. Never ever go here
Do not go here! Customer service is horrible! i called and was left on hold for 10 min. Only to call back and the lady says give me a sec...I said i already have you 10 min! She says we'll just give me another sec...where i proceeded to hold for another 3 min. It's not worth it to spend money and customers not matter. Go somewhere else!
Wing Guru was good. I LOVE their seasonings. The wings were good and the fries were too but the price.... . For what you pay, there are far better wings to be had in Memphis, Tn. Again, they weren 't bad wings at all, they were good but they weren 't excellent and I was charged for excellent wings. Pro Tip: Buy the original seasoning and cook your own favorite chicken wings or chicken meals. I usually like the crazy flavors but their best one in my opinion is the original Wing Guru seasoning.
