Freddy’s Frozen Custard Steakburgers

On our way home, we decided to stop at the drive-thru. The process of placing our order and getting our food was quick, and everything was accurate. This was our first experience at Freddy's, and we really enjoyed it. The burgers were fresh, and the fries were fantastic. I ordered a California burger, which isn't usually what I expect from restaurants outside of California that use that name; I typically think there should be a slice of avocado involved. However, at Freddy's, it came with a full slice of onion, no pickles, and Thousand Island dressing. It turned out to be very tasty!

We walked in and noticed a haze in the air, as if something was constantly being burned. The floors, from the entrance to the bathroom to the ordering counter, were sticky. The meal I ordered was decent, but my husband couldn't finish his hamburger. Given the state of the place, I was unsure if we might end up with food poisoning. On a positive note, the woman at the counter was very friendly, though I couldn't see anyone else working there. I'm sure there was someone in the kitchen.

I waited an hour beyond the scheduled pickup time, only to find that there was no bread and no warning about it. The manager had a dismissive attitude that was very frustrating. We've only been in Collierville for a month, but we are done with this place. It seems like there's been one problem after another.

The food was good! However the lady who took our order was not good she sounded very way down, heavy, like she did not want anybody to order anything at any time that she was there! This mentality and tone is very prevalent in Memphis! When I was young they trained you to smile while taking the order because even if they could not see you they could hear the smile in your voice. Apparently Memphis has the most horrible managers because nowhere I go here are people trained to speak with courtesy and to make your experience one that you want to return for. Unfortunately everyone in here at Memphis just accepts being treated poorly because it is obviously something no one says anything about because no one here cares to be treated better or to just give a better experience. Hopefully this will change! There is a lot of growth that would like to come to Memphis, but it cannot happen because there is no room when it is so full of poor service and negativity!

First and last time at this place. Chicken sandwich was under cooked and had lettuce and tomato and no mayonnaise. Very dry and rubbery. The place was very dirty. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and there was a used sanitary napkin stuck to the toilet paper dispenser ????. Booths were thithy. Front door looked like it had not been cleaned in months. Horrible experience. Never had this experience at any other Collierville establishment.
