Captain D's - Collierville

Captain D's is a seafood restaurant that specializes in crispy fried fish. I particularly enjoy it when it is freshly cooked and served hot. In addition to fish, they also offer shrimp, chicken strips, crab cakes, and a variety of sides. The service can be a little slow at times, but it is worth the wait when the food is hot and fresh. Captain D's is more of a fast food establishment compared to a upscale seafood restaurant like Red Lobster. The prices are a bit high, especially considering that drinks are not included with the meal. They often have special promotions and we receive vouchers in the mail regularly. Overall, Captain D's is a place we visit occasionally for a tasty seafood meal.

It took 35 minutes for my order to be taken and delivered. The restaurant was not busy, with only 2 cars in line besides mine. I paid extra for shrimp but did not receive them. I have called three times with no answer.

The food at this restaurant was excellent and I really enjoyed it. The service was also very quick and efficient.

Captain D’s is a seafood fish restaurant. I love the crispy fried fish. Especially when freshly cooked and served hot. They have shrimps, chicken strips, crab cakes and many sides. Usually a little on the slow side. But this is good when it is served hot, as I mentioned above. Captain D’s is more of a fast food restaurant than a place like Red Lobster, in my opinion. Prices are a bit high considering that drinks do not come with the meal. They have special areas that encourage them every month. And we get vouchers in the mail quite regularly. For us it is an occasional place to eat.

Great healthy food choice for a great price. Wish they had locations in the west
