We were a party of two and ordered one starter, three main dishes, steamed rice, and a green tea crème brulee for dessert. Despite not being very hungry, we wanted to try a variety of dishes and everything was so delicious. The total cost was around $45, which we found reasonable considering the quality and variety of the food we got to try. Currently, the restaurant is BYO, but they are working on obtaining a liquor license. The only suggestion I have for improvement is for the workers coming from the apartments next door to change into their work clothes before entering the restaurant, as we noticed a few still in their work attire while we were dining. Overall, adding some background music, perhaps some beautiful Japanese instrumental music, could enhance the ambiance of the restaurant.
The service at this restaurant was awful. The waiter seemed to have no interest in helping us and was extremely rude when I inquired about the menu.
Excellent food, rivals top Japanese restuarants in Perth. Great service. Will definitely be back in the future.
Had heard a lot of good things about this restaurant so thought we would give it a try. Every thing we heard was correct we were made to feel special, it was a great night, meal service fantastic, clean and fresh facitlities, food delicious, very different way of sharing and enjoying a meal doing the tapas. When you order your informed that all dishes are share and will just keep coming out one by one. We were a party of 2, we ordered 1 starter and 3 main plus 1 steamed rice, then we also shared a green tea crème brullie not because we were hungry quite the opposite we had heard so much about them we wanted to try it, and it was a must so yummy. Reasonably priced I thought, it worked out for all that around $45 each not bad compared to a main an dessert at any other restaurant, and you have the chance to try a lot of different meals instead of just one. At the moment you have to BYO but they are trying for a lic. The only thing I think could be better if the workers who come from the apartments next door were made to order at the reception area so they weren't walking into the restaurant in their work clothes, as we had a couple who did that while we were dining. Also if there was background music playing I didn't hear it so maybe turn that up a little for ambience, nice Japanese instrumental would give it that extra touch
