Dixie Chicken - College Station

Always a must stop! Cool beer and the food is good too! Kid-friendliness: The place is always a good family experience.

This is the most iconic bar in Texas A&M College Station. Lots of generations have enjoyed a cold beer here. Word to the wise...use the restroom before you come on busy days. The bar has a small restroom for it's size. It might be a long wait.

Traditional college dive bar with EXTREMELY HIGH PRICED, MEDIOCRE FOOD. $37.17 for chicken fried chicken sandwich thin processed chicken mulch patty; frozen, machine sprayed onion rings; and soda. Maybe good place to drink, play pool, watch games on multiple screens.

Little confused on ordering at first. Food was alright. Would go back for the cold beer and atmosphere for sure.

The chicken strips were over cooked but the fries were good.
