Bbq 13-0 - College Station

13-O BBQ in Northgate is not your typical Texas barbecue joint, but its distinctiveness is a major highlight. Instead of standard three-meat plates with sides, 13-O focuses on sandwiches—large, loaded with sauce, and expertly balanced in flavor. The sandwich menu, created by Peter Madden, the culinary mind behind Mad Taco and Madden’s, truly shines in taste! I tried the Meatloaf Sandwich, while my friend went for the Chopped Beef. I gladly finished mine entirely because it was so delicious, while my friend relished his but took half of it home. The portions are generous!

The sandwiches were amazing! My friend and I visited for lunch and ordered the meatloaf and pulled pork sandwiches, both of which were outstanding. The staff was courteous and friendly, although the restaurant was a bit on the small side.

Overall, the food is excellent, but the dining area is rather small, and the staff can occasionally come off as rude. The BBQ pulled pork sandwich is exceptional! The brisket sandwich is flavorful as well, but be mindful that their sauce contains mustard, so it might be best to skip it if you’re not a fan. The cookies are absolutely fantastic. However, the restaurant feels cramped, and much of the furniture is in poor condition.

Great atmosphere even better food! I've always bought sandwiches using the Hooked deals app. The barbecue sauce is delicious, the sandwiches are always hot and fresh, and the potato salad is so good. I've recommended this place to several friends; this will be the place to take visitors to in Aggieland. This would definitely be my go-to place on game days if only they were open then!!

The briskest sandwich is fabulous. Could use some help on the options for sides but the menu setup and the pricing $7.99) for every sandwich totally makes up for it. And they 're fast!! At least until College Station 'finds ' this place. The atmosphere is genius too. Lots of neat things to look at when you 're eating!
