I see why they call it Jamerican cuz this is the most Americsn made Jamaican food I ever tasted. Yea the plates were bogo... I thought I was getting Brownstew chicken, but I still to this day don't know what that was. I fed it to the animals. I asked for rice and peas and only got white rice. At least the kids liked the jerk chicken.
A few of the waitresses were very rude. Me and of group friends patronized this establishment for a bday outing. We didn 't even get a chance to enjoy ourselves before the first waitress expressed very rudely and aggressive that we were in an area reserved for hookahs. Nothing visible stating so. It was late, we had already been drinking and we just left the establishment to avoid anything further confrontation. If your a waitress your there to accommodate the customers to make money not to create issues that would cause problems. Make sure your employees are stable mentally to complete the job they are employed to do unless otherwise provoked. Stop drinking and bringing personal issues WORK BITC#!!!!!!
The food was good BUT I waited almost 2hrs for chicken tenders and Mac n cheese, which by the time I got it I didn't want it. The manager did come and offer me a drink for the wait but it was utterly ridiculous to sit there that long...
Looks can definitely be deceiving, this spot is located in an old shopping plaza and has a pretty cool happy hour. You have your choice of a few drinks for $5, including rum punch which is some of the best I have tasted in the city. The music is good, lots of reggae tunes. I was surprised when my food came out on a white glass plate, presentation was beautiful and the food was so delicious. For $16 I had fried whiting that was perfectly fried and seasoned, cheesy mac n cheese, and peas and rice. The entrée was $15 and I was charged an upcharge for the premium side (mac n cheese). This place has so much potential, my friend and I were two of four customers dining in. Not sure why it wasn’t crowded because the place is very spacious with booths and tables, a large bar, good music, friendly service, and a pool table.I can see myself returning here. If you enjoy Jamaican food and music, check out this place today. They also have a $5 lunch special.
