We had THE most delicious meal this evening. The food was so fresh, it was superb! Between us we had the chicken, steak and salmon and each of us commented on how excellent our food was cooked. The potato sides were amazing too. I shall definitely return when I am next in Portstewart!

We stayed across the road at California Lodges and ate here nights in a row. The food was great, well priced and the staff were on the ball. Covid is making things difficult but this team are so switched on you won't notice it....Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here and would recommend you book in advance as it's always busy. Enjoy.

Ate here with my husband and two children on Thursday night. The food was very nice, and the hygiene standards were great. Staff very friendly. I am gluten free, and although the menu states that all meals can be made gluten free, I was disappointed...that when I ordered ‘breaded mushrooms’ I simply got a plate of ordinary mushrooms. I then ordered pasta with garlic bread but the garlic bread was missing from the meal as they had no gluten free substitute. The girl was friendly and asked if I wanted to order anything else which I didn’t, there was plenty of pasta. I just feel that the menu needs to be a little more upfront in regards to what they are offering as gluten free options. I double checked with the waitress before ordering and wasn’t told the meals would be ‘adapted’ or things missing. I paid for meals with parts missing and for that reason I was a little disappointed after being told the restaurant was well catered for gluten free. My family thoroughly enjoyed their meals however and I have no other complaints.

Everything about this culinary experience was first-class, by friendly staff who did not eat enough for us to the fantastic food served on hot plates (which is missing in most restaurants today). the dessert was also super....and homemade! comfortable sitting and overall...a really nice place to eat.

If I gave it a minus. booked a meal for my man and I, a little early withdrawn and were shown on our table. we ordered a drink and waited to order food, my men starter was good my garnish were a bit gummy. that...if we had been there, because when the steak arrived that it was so rare, the blood ran into the chips and tabac wobble that came with him, we asked for medium the vege was small bowl of carrots and papasnip they were hard and looked like they were frozen. I had two bits of the steaks, which through the cost per then the rest after house for the dog
