Black Bear Tavern At River Edge Inn

I often go to the Black Bear Tavern and have always been happy. Lunch/dinner is always good and the pulled pig is the best I ever had. Your new breakfast buffet is definitely worth fresh fruit, muffins dunishes, eggs, bacon, houseries, biscuits and gravy, there is enough variety to make everyone happy. The food is fresh and the waiter attentive. This is also my favorite place to go for a drink with friends. The atmosphere is great and the drinks delicious. Try a Bahama Mama Bear, they're the best!

On the way to Pittsburg we stayed so happy. Especially the scallops and loved it. Beautiful creamy sauce with fennel, spinach mushrooms and gnocchi. This dish was made with perfection. Thank you, Chef Gerry.

Had a great lunch. Everything was wonderful, food service etc. Had lunch on the terrace late on the day, beautiful breeze. Would come back!

I'm a very picky person when it comes to food. Prime Rib is fantastic. Steak tips and fillet are worth a Boston review. Hamburgers are always great and French pommes are really like your grandmother. Boneless wings are better than the 99 restaurant. Food and service is better than what they ask for. The service is undoubtedly the best. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is always ready to make you happy. Everything flows well in this place. If something isn't right and believe I just sent things back to make it perfect again. It's great.

Our second time there, great, relaxing place with excellent food and our server, Nick, was awesome!! We will be back, excited to try the breakfast buffet!
