Mehalah's At Oysters Ale - Colchester

I myself and five friends have just returned from our first, which many will be visiting for them. excellent eating, both hot and cold. good choice and good value for money. for our waitress she was super, super fun and wonderful customer service!

Amazing food and loved the ambience I would definitely return we have always loved the company shed but this was less busy with more of a menu to select from the oysters were the best I have ever eaten

Loads of oysters to start then a great seafood platter washed down with a bottle of Mersea wine. Simple pleasures

Great place : 5 of us turned up including 2 young children. Local Oysters were divine and the lobster was probably the best I have ever had. Tom made us very welcome and the service was second to none. They even had crayons etc for the kids to keep them occupied between courses. Would definitely recommend this warm, cosy little restaurant to anyone who visits Mersea Island :
