Mamma Mia Pizzeria - Colchester

We sat outside in their courtyard which faces the castle nice little area. The only downside was there isn't a non smoking area and there were quite a few people smoking which wasn't very pleasant. The menu is very extensive and I had the seafood risotto which was a good portion with plenty of fresh seafood it was delicious. The rest of the family had pizzas which were freshly prepared and massive. Very reasonably priced and good service. Not sure I would sit in the garden just based on the smoking situation but that's personal preference. Other than that was a good meal.

Whenever I visit this restaurant, the food always exceeds my expectations. The flavors are amazing, even the side dishes. Although the service can be a bit slow at times, it is clear that the time and effort put into preparing the delicious food is well worth the wait.

This was the best meal I’ve had out in a long time, the food was so good. I had the cheese and meat platter to start, linguine alfredo as the main and the tiramisu for dessert all of it was delicious. My partner had the steak which was cooked perfectly.

I had a good overall experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was nice, the service was good, and the food was freshly made and tasty. I recommend booking in advance as it gets very busy. However, the options for vegetarians are limited and there are no options for vegans. The restaurant is centrally located and popular with a trendy crowd. It was a bit on the expensive side. The dessert choices are also limited, especially for vegans and vegetarians.

Since toto’s, a long time ago no longer here. pleasantly surprised, great menu, real Italian cuisine, great service, will definitely come back!
