Cinnamon Tandoori - Colchester

First time I’ve ordered a takeaway from this restaurant. Starter: Tandoori chicken. Average cold. Main: cinnamon special chicken. Didn’t realise I ordered a chicken stew. Also bland cold. Saag aloo. Below average. Also cold. Rice.

Ordered later Saturday night order was delivered slightly earl and was hot and tasty the biryani was very good and the naan delicious.

0 stars! Food was delivered 2 hours after placing the order and was watery and cold! After checking where the food was the first time, we were told we would receive a full refund if the order still wasn't with us after another 15 minutes, we would get a full refund. 25 minutes later... still no food and the manager refused a refund! Terrible food quality, service and delivery. Save yourself the hassle and order somewhere else!

I recently ordered chicken tikka masala from this restaurant and was disappointed to find that it tasted like mascarpone cheese. The chicken korma was incredibly dry, and the onion bhajis tasted like coffee and grease. My partner had a garlic naan and I had a peshwari naan, both of which tasted moldy. The only saving grace was the sag aloo. We left £30 poorer, still hungry, and thoroughly dissatisfied with our meal. I would advise against ordering from this restaurant.

The peshwari naan was disappointing, with a rubbery texture and lacking sweetness, moisture, and coconut flavor. The lamb korma was mostly sauce with very little meat, and the meat that was present was tough and overcooked. Overall, I will not be ordering from this restaurant again. Thank you, Hungry House.
