Good decorations and music. general menu and portion sizes. good wine. the staff was helpful and friendly, although you might seem new or shy. the eating was delicious, although I decided to leave the dish on the crooks, it was a little bit of deputting personally, although still a delicious dish. I was offered a coffee or a drink in the house to answer my prawns that was wonderful. I went back gratefully when I was full and enjoyed myself. I'm coming back happy.

Excellent eating. we had the linguine lobster and beef filet and would recommend both. service was good and restaurant spotless and attractive. the cost of the meal were very good and worth every penny.

We had a great lunch in la dolce vita. Although the restaurant was almost empty, we have tasted our experience, and eating was excellent. the calamari for starters, steak and oktopus for net and tiramisu for dessert were all very delicious. the tiramisu was probably one of the best I had in recent years. the customer service was very friendly. my little advice: 1. I would appreciate a better wine selection; the current weinlist is extremely short and there is no variety. 2. the steak should come ideally with a side of vegetables like roasted potatoes/frries etc., especially that the price £25 is already quite high for colchester standards. Nevertheless, this is a really beautiful place with high-quality eating.

Could only fault one thing which was rectifyed in a timely manner. Food spotty dog and very reasonable. Would I go back YES
