This place was amazing. the food about a 4.8 /5. to be fair and honest the only thing I didn't like was the popcorn chicken. a little greasy for me. doesn't mean you wont like it, some people may love it, just not my style. The pulled pork, brisket is the best I had in CT in a long time. had flavor, wasn't dry. and the sauces were unique. if you get anything here for food try the corn bread with the maple syrup butter. it's amazing. the customer service a 20/5 let's talk customer service. if they keep up this behavior, they will out sell almost all restaurants in the neighboring towns. Why? I was approached by the chef, approached by the cashier, approached by a waiter and approached by the gentleman behind the bar. Maybe because it was a little slow, but they all asked how I liked it, if I needed anything and that type of customer service isn't seen that often in businesses these days. if they can keep that up in their business model to at least 90% of customers it'll go a long way. I also wasn't the only customer approached and met with this courtesy of kindness. that type of appreciation for being in their restaurant, is a model all businesses of their kind should learn from. I hope it keeps up. highly recommend this place!

That's not BBQ, do you even have a smoker? My?Brat? was gray and more like pot roasts, ribs had no taste of smoke like dirty Chinese ribs. Dirty oil flavor on chicken, won?t even on Mac near the best thing was the taste of soup my boiled greens floated. The staff was nice, no complaints.

Orders takeout; the rib plate with potato salad for the hover. Good shards for sides and it came with five ribs. Really enjoyed the potato salad, which was flavored with dill and still had the skin on. The bacon Mac and cheese was tasty, but a little dry, so I thoroughly mixed in some of their sauces halfway. Ribs cooks the right amount by keeping them on the bone while eating, but clean came. Was my first time there so asked that one of every sauce to try and she happily committed while they told me what was in every labeled container. Would order the same again, but the brisket will try next

Very delicious food! This has been on my To Go places for some time after seeing an article on this place. I came in late Saturday afternoon with not too many people. The staff here was very friendly and walked around the dining room greeting everyone. The Mac and cheese was delicious. I typically don't like Mac and cheese but the cheese used here was great. The coleslaw was nice and light; I didn't feel like I was eating globs of Mayo. Pulled pork was soft and juicy too. And the sauces were great. My favorite was the Maple Bourbon sauce.

Goodness Gracious! Great BBQ and even better people! Genuinely positive vibes. Got waited on by one of the owners, and met the other owner when he kindly stopped at our table to say thank you for coming and stayed to chat for a while. Seems like this is a nice place to work, staff was happy and gracious. BBQ was great! Reasonable pricing, large portions. We tried the Pulled Chicken Oz Bowl, Burnt Ends with potato salad and baked beans, Brisket Sandwich with potato salad. Will return would recommend : : : :
