Cafe Capa Negra - Coimbra

There is no reason why you should be in the area, other than like me, getting lost looking for a mall with an electronics store. But if you happen to be there around lunchtime do not hesitate to walk in and have the daily menu, for 6.5 euros including a soup, a main course and a Beverage be it water, coke, house wine or a beer) and coffee surrounded by locals eating lunch, including a bunch of uniformed police, is an unbeatable deal. The bacalhau seemed excellent, though I had the fried chicken. It was finished by the time I left at 1.30pm. I think that an honest home cooked meal which happens to be cheap, well deserves 4 stars. Proprietária super simpática , serviu nos às 16h enquanto fazia a limpeza do estabelecimento, não há muita gente hoje em dia a fazer isso, comê mos bitoque, e Estava muito bom, diária 8,5€

Downtown location away from the tourist route, good food, good and friendly service. I visited often on my recent stay.
