Velan Kaappi - Coimbatore

It's quite a big place, with open air seating for the most part. The filter coffee is absolutely amazing, with an option for jaggery instead of sugar. The bajjis and cutlet are really good as well. Prices are not very stepped up.

My go to place for a quick coffee pitstop amidst a tiring schedule. The aroma of freshly ground coffee beans always grabs the attention of the passers by. The coffee beans are proprietary and the quality is just awesome for the price. Rs. 20 for tea and Rs. 25 for coffee. TOTALLY WORTH IT. (Highly recommend coffee). Now they have started serving samosas and vadas too! Happy fooding...

Great coffee! Great spot! Great vibes! I personally love it!! It has enough space for about 10 two-wheelers to park. No space for cars though So plan your visit if you’re in a car. Otherwise it’s a fine place to have traditional South Indian filter coffee.

Well maintained shop. Great coffee. But Rs.25 per coffee seems costlier when there are nearby coffee shops offering coffee at Rs.20/ Rs.15.
