Really nice back street pub. quirky old building. backyard type garden through the keen publican/ gardener . colorful.

Had a sunday roast here and it was ok, better than average. Pork belly roast came with really nice veg like cabbage and leeks. Very tasty. Potatoes were a bit dark. Things I didn't like were that the glasses were all a bit dirty. Also the dessert was disappointing. Nice but nothing better.

Visited last week lovely place.. lovely village we had coffee and a pint of ale. friendly staff good atmosphere..hope to visit again.

This is the literally the best pub we've ever been to (and we've been to quite a few! . They're welcoming, friendly, it's clean throughout and the pizzas are all homemade by the landlord! They've also got a fantastic selection of beers, ales and spirits. The history of the building and what haunts it is also fascinating (in the event you get to speak to the landlord who is a bit of a legend we thought! Great pub, you won't be disappointed!

Lovely and Quiet and Quaint. Food was delicious. Fresh cooked and tasty. We were just out for a drive and decided to stop for a bite. Really glad we did. Pity I was driving would have lovely to have hung around a bit longer
