Phelps's Hog Heaven - Coffeyville

I had the brisket burger, it wasn't bad. The brisket was cut pretty thick and was just warm and the burger was good but it too wasn't hot. The service was excellent tho and the people were very nice. Others in my party were very happy with theirs so all in all a good visit.

One star only because I can't get a zero. Service,staff and atmosphere was amazing! Food lacked flavor of any kind. I had the 2 meat dinner. Brisket, Pulled Pork, mashed potatoes, okra and bread. Both meats tasted old, as if they were sitting in water all week. Zero flavor at all! It was not edible, I added BBQ sauce to try to eat what I purchased but was still unable to eat the meat. I did leave a tip because the service was good. So I ended up paying a total of $17 for okra and a piece of toast. Because that was all that was edible. I didn't bring it to the attention of the sweet waitress because the taste of the food is not her fault and I didn't want to cause a ruckus, but I 100% will not be back and advise anyone to not waste their money.

Food is pretty good. Last time I received very small portion and too much fat/gristle.
