La Carreta - Coffee County

Always one of our favorite go to Mexican restaurant. Great food and prices are fair

I lived in Southern California for several decades. So, I am critical of Mexican in New England. No Taco Bell for me. La Carreta is not Southern California, and it's not Texmex. It is Mexican. Mostly of the Yucatan variety. I will say this it's pretty decent. I did not have their margaritas, from what I've heard they're very good. But the food here is authentic and very good.

I would really recommend this place. I had the best tacos ever, and they were only 6 dollars! The service is very good and the people are nice there.
