Starbucks - Coeur D' Alene

Our neighborhood Starbucks is so awesome. The staff are exceptionally friendly, the food and drinks consistently delicious. Highly recommend.

I have been going to this Starbucks for years. I went through the drive-through, and they didn’t return my Starbucks card. I went inside after I realized 10 minutes later to get my card. The card had my name, and they insisted on seeing my ID. This is ridiculous, given the circumstances. I understand the policy if you leave your card for days. But I had just gone through the drive-through, and there was no other Starbucks card that was left there. Then I had to run out to my car to get my ID. This isn’t using common sense or good customer service, given the situation.

Pulled into the drive through at 5pm on a Monday. A car in front of me had just finished ordering and moved up to the window. When I got to the menu, I was told the location was closed. I then had to sit and wait behind the vehicle in front of me for 5 minutes while they handed the customer multiple blended drinks. After I finally got out of the drive through, I saw an employee putting out a sign to block off the entrance to the drive through. I’m sure they closed early for some kind of team meeting, but they should have blocked off the drive through before turning customers away, especially considering they had literally taken an order from the previous customer 30 seconds prior.

I frequent here pretty often in the late mornings, This is my go to spot. The staff is kind and welcoming. I can name a Couple of the young ladies who work in the morning but I don’t want to misspell their names. This morning, I’ll just call her J, made my drink before I even got to the counter because she saw Me walk in and talk with a friend before I even got to the counter. Thats one of many things the staff has done and they work diligently and in a timely manner. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for some Joe.
