Country Cookin' Diner - Cocoa

Land Cooking Diner provided a wonderful breakfast experience to kick off the morning. The prices were reasonable, the service was courteous and accommodating, and the food was particularly tasty. With its genuine Southern-style breakfast offerings, this diner is definitely one we would revisit.

It was my first meal at this restaurant, and both the food and the staff were fantastic. I ordered a Cuban sandwich, and it was delicious. I definitely plan to return.

I was really disappointed to find that the only connection to the South in this restaurant is its name. I was expecting some good Southern food, but do you know what Southern breakfast doesn't even serve salt on its grits? It felt like a violation of Southern cuisine standards. I overheard a waitress telling another customer that they serve sweet tea, but she could bring unsweetened tea with sugar on the side—now that’s another Southern faux pas. The decor looks like they raided a craft store during a sale on farmhouse-themed items. There are plenty of places in the area that serve authentic Southern breakfasts at better prices. Just putting up signs with chickens and flags doesn’t make you true to the South, nor does it justify using the name. Please, add some salt to your grits!

The best place I've ever been by far! Great, friendly staff and great food. In any case, get back!!
