The Phat ****: KFC Wings (Korean Fried Chicken . Smoked Wings. Smoked Beef. Fried Green Tomatoes. Smoked Beans. Tabasco Remoulade. Thyme Blue Cheese. Slaw. Taste: The chicken, fried green tomatoes, slaw sauces were the standouts! This spread typically comes with Bacon-wrapped Dates, but they were out of dates gave me a double order of my choice of wings instead! I definitely scored big on that substitute. I would have liked to taste more bacon in the smoked beans, which had just a hint of sweetness (my preference so don't go expecting syrupy-sweet baked beans. The smoked beef was unseasoned. I didn't even taste salt. Perhaps the expectation is that folks will drown their meat in BBQ sauces. But I like my meat to stand on its own, with sauce as an enhancement. I wasn't as fond of their BBQ sauces so those options didn't help. (I like more vinegary, spicy and mustardy style sauces. I did love the sauce on the KFC wings and, had it occurred to me then, I would've asked if I could get a side of it to slather on the beef. Service: I appreciated that they readily offered extra meat in place of the Bacon-wrapped Dates rather than an extra side dish. Also, my smoked beef was lukewarm and when I asked for a reheat, he stated that he'd give me a fresh portion so that I could have extra to take home.

Love smoke just wish they were closer to home for me. I'm a daily listener of 98rock morning show and heard the episode of the creation of the fowl ball and this thing is killer. There's nothing I've ordered from here and been disappointed with

Recently made it to smoke for their brunch event and let me just say the food rocked my world!

The best smoked chicken wings I’ve had! The smoke flavor was balanced and the fat was appropriately rendered with the right amount of crisp.

Great barbecue. Chips were different, good flavor and in the end a good thing. Cool atmosphere.
