For smaller parties, you'll need to wait until there are enough guests to fill most of the seats. Once your orders are taken and the drinks, soup, and salad are served, your chef will come to your table to prepare the entrée. The show begins with grilling some eggs, rice, and a selection of oils and spices to create fried rice. Then, the chef adds vegetables and meat to the grill, cooking everything that was ordered. Expect some flames and an impressive onion volcano during the preparation! After the cooking performance, the grill is cleaned, which adds an interesting element to the experience. I took a lot of pictures, but I should have recorded a video since you can enjoy the meal while the food is being prepared. I had onion soup, which was a mild and flavorful broth with a few chopped onions. The salad and the rest of the meal were tasty, though not extraordinary. Still, the overall culinary experience was enjoyable and well worth the price. This restaurant is a great spot for bringing children; the kids at our table, as well as those nearby, seemed to really enjoy the chefs' entertaining performances.
My rating is somewhat optimistic and instead I would give this place a '3.75'. I thought the main actor was solid, but the soup and the salad were missing. Soup had little to no taste and I became a choice on salad dressing (conspiracy tasted water down? . I don't expect a meal from a Japanese steakhouse to be cheap, but I expect more when I pay about $30 for a meal.
It's been about 20 years since I've been to a hibachi restaurant and this was so much fun. The wait for our chef was a bit long but worth it. The amount of food you get is massive and tasty. The chef was fun and interactive with everyone at the table. I had the ribeye and shrimp and my wife had the fillet and chicken. Both were excellent. Highly recommend this place. We didn't order sushi but saw it and it looked amazing.
The food was outstanding and the chef was quite entertaining. The restaurant wasn't crowded, and everything was ready at the time of our reservation with no delays.
I visited the restaurant hoping to enjoy some sushi, only to find out that, despite "sushi" being in the name, they don't actually serve it. No worries, I ordered a NY Strip Steak instead. After a twenty-minute wait, they brought me a salad and a decent soup. They started with a presentation of rice and vegetables, then served the steak, which was cut into small pieces of incredibly bland meat. I managed to take about five bites before deciding I couldn't eat any more. The cook invited me to catch a shrimp with my mouth, but I opted to leave. I felt like I had wasted $40 and an hour of my time.
