The server brought our fried rice first and we sat there with no utensils for about 10 minutes. We finally flagged our waitress down and asked, then watched her walk around the dining room for several minutes with it. My friend finally got up and grabbed silverware from the tray at the server station and it was so sticky that our hands stuck to it. Somebody from the kitchen came out in a while with the rest of our meal and we had to ask him for our utensils. The waitress saw this and came running over and basically threw the silverware at my friend in order to get it on the table before the guy from the kitchen could beat her to it. When she brought our check, she dropped one of the fortune cookies on the floor. She went away and then came back but neither of us would eat the new one because we both figured she brought the same one back. She checked on us more during the few minutes the check was on the table than we saw her the whole time we were there, and then we saw her counting the tip as she walked away with the check. BTW, there was only one other table and almost no take out the entire time, so no excuse for the horrible service.
Great American Chinese takeout, my go to in the area. We love the vegi fried rice and General Gao's Chicken.
China rose is one of the most fun restaurants I’ve ever been too there’s a great environment great food and the owner Foo is so welcoming that this place feels like home when having a fun night
I’m not sure about the food here anymore. It feels like they cut ingredients to save on costs. My pork fried rice and lo mein were bland and missing basic ingredients (ex no bean sprouts in pork fried rice as pictured in their menu). Apps are fine. Probably need to find a new place for take
We came in on New Year’s Day because their website says they offer sushi and Chinese food. They do not offer sushi. Strike 1. Their menu says their combo plates are not available on certain holidays, one being New Year’s Eve, but they don’t list New Year’s Day. They wouldn’t do a combo plate. Strike 2. The food we did order (orange chicken, plain lo mein, vegetable spring rolls) were fine. The orange chicken was spicer than expected and the vegetable spring rolls were dripping in oil and virtually inedible. And when the check came, only 2 fortune cookies were provided even though there were 3 of us in my party. Needless to say, we will not be back.
