Coburg Cafe

I've eaten here several times and the food is pretty good. But the service is often very slow. The last time I was here, I sat at the counter to order food to go. 20 minutes later, nobody had taken my order. I might have waited a little longer, but for the loud truckers sitting on opposite sides of the u-shaped counter having a loud right-wing discussion filled with misinformation! I couldn't stand it any longer. Won't be going back.

Cute, very clean stop! The staff here are very nice and the food is good. The menu is large and you can get anything any time of the day. I had the on the lighter side grilled chicken breast and cottage cheese and hubby did the special omelet. All was good! Chicken was seasoned nicely and the veggies are fresh. Great rest stop and surprisingly good! And they are COVid friendly. They added shields between all the booths and the have sanitizer. So all good there too.
