Lakeview Deli and Meatery - Cobden

Great choices, great food, locally sourced as much as possible, friendly service, owner/cook on site, clean restrooms/restaurant, lots of parking, amazing soups and reasonable prices. Check out the freezer and bring stuff home; delicious everything! Speciality is meats of all kinds and their smoked meat proves it!! Cozy sit down area and they prepare everything as you order it; mmmmm good! Whenever we go by, we make it a point to stop for a snack, lunch or even dinner as my bride simply loves the food and the atmosphere of the place. Support a local instead of "large we don't care about you chains". Stop at Lakeview deli!

If you have ever been to a New York deli then you will know why I love this place. The sandwiches are amazing and you will need two hands to eat them. I had the pulled pork...Awesome! Friends had the smoked meat and steak sandwiches...Unbelievable! Great service and very humble.

I get it's a small town but at the same time I was expecting a little more for the price of the meals.

Decided to stop in while out for a drive. Very nice and clean establishment. Our server greeted us with a commercial like smile and was very friendly. The service was prompt and orderly. The food was awesome, I had order the Spicy Chicken Wrap and it was more than expected. The portion totally exceeded my expectations. I have since tasted the Satan Burger which again surpassed my expectations. I will definitely visit this establishment again in the future. As we left, the cook said "Thank you" which is always a nice touch. I recommend this place to everyone.

We love this place! During the summer we stop here on our way to "the cottage". We love the burgers (and especially the black bean burgers for our vegetarian folks!), the potato salad and prepared skewers. If you want lunch (all we have ever stopped for) great burgers and sandwiches. Sometimes they have yummy burger buns and butter tarts available.Well worthwhile stopping by for delicious homemade food, an excellent butchery selection, friendly service and very clean.Note-really easy to pop in-right on HWY 17 in the village of Cobden.
